Madison Richards is passionate about building a more equitable society through finance and philanthropy. At Align, Madison sources and conducts due diligence on impact-first investments and philanthropy opportunities that bridge gaps that market rate investments cannot.

Prior to joining Align, Madison was an Assistant Program Officer at LISC LA, the Los Angeles local office of national CDFI, LISC. At LISC, she worked to increase access to capital for BIPOC and women-owned small businesses through loans, grants, and other capital resources. Madison was also a Peace Corps Community Economic Development Volunteer in Peru. In Peru, she taught entrepreneurship, financial education, and advised a women’s artisan association. 

Madison graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Risk Management. She speaks English and Spanish. In her free time, Madison likes to hike with her dog, attend concerts, and try new restaurants with friends.
